Hello everyone! I am a sophomore Journalism and Mass Communications student with a concentration in Public Relations and a Marketing minor. I currently serve as Director of Public Relations for the Student Activities Council. With my committee, I promote various SAC events around campus such as Harry’s Coffeehouse and Spring Fling. I am also a Panhellenic Officer, serving as Director of Member Education.
I have planned events on campus through the Panhellenic Council and have experience developing activities and organizing them enough in advance. In my SAC director position, I work closely with the current VP of Events and the Samford University Activities Director and Coordinator on a regular basis.
I’m excited to continue making Samford traditions a great experience for students at all levels and create new events throughout the year. My goals for Vice President of Events are to get students more involved in SAC events and increase participation.
